Your affective rent in inflation adjusted money is significantly less than it was 10 years ago.Your tenants have likely gotten raises and are making significantly more than they were making 10 years ago.I am not trying to indicate that your path is not appropriate for you as much as showing you the numbers in case you have not done the calculations and giving you some things to think about.Good luck
