The title search revealed two liens (2018 and 2019) regarding a falling down facade in the front (about 2 feet off the ground below the front window).

Then call the references and ask about the  quality of their work, and their experience with the workmen.I'd also ask them about the costs involved to demo the lath and plaster and redo it in sheet rock as well as top coat with (probably) knock down spatter (and get a paint and molding (baseboards, windows, etc...) estimate too).Your choice will probably be evident after this.Some states require you to use a lead certified contractor to remove lead paint (special EPA training, special masks and special vacuums, etc...).Good Luck!

I did a ton of yard work, replaced some windows, and updated appliances.

Looking at this street, I see boarded-up windows, a 4-plex not in the best shape, and recently sold comps on a few streets around only reaching 130k for newer builds in the 2000s.

Come to find out the buyers are furious and demanding that we cut out a hole in the garage and put a window in rather than fix the little window that was broken.

Does it need new electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, insulation, siding, windows, doors?
