Keep in mind that you can't apply for a tax abatement until you have approved building permits in hand.

Jonathan,Maybe the clause I read regarding selling real estate on the side doesn’t apply to personal property. 

You should still get the original pricing / rate if this works, as your original lock should still apply. 

This would also apply to a regular FHA loan.

The intent to spell out in vague terms any discounts, concessions, incentives, or credits is to have it apply to all items that the LL includes in the rent or any discounts to the rent because to spell out each individually is not feasible. 

However presumably that won't apply if your wife is NZ citizen.

The only thing that comes to mind is that each of the homes may have different special assessments applied to it.

Dodd Frank does not apply to gov't loans, and FHA wants to go up above what the law allows, which they can do b/c they ARE the gov't.
