We've been hearing about this for almost three years now - I agree with article below which pts out the problem differs widely from market to market and many of these are low-end or tear down properties which won't have any bearing on mid or high-end homes.

Every time I did this, I took the amount that I would have spent and I put it into an interest bearing ON-LINE bank account, and I did not give my self any card access to it.

Further the "can't add money" issue can be a real bear.

Finding a buyer will not be the same as doing a SFD deal, and the property type will have a bearing on how you market it.Valuation should be with comps per sq. ft. and an income approach.

hi guys, i have been here for almost 4 days and had been going through all the posts mentioned here. and now would like to enter officially.originally from mumbai, but had stayed for almost 6 years in chicago. presently in mumbai, but would love to enter the real estate market. i want to build up a portfolio for my daughter who is US citizen and try to build her future. initially i am interested in cash flow. but it all depends as time progresses.so would like your input and all your help in my future deals.thank you again
