I just got off the phone with a couple of prospective sellers who called in response to my direct mail piece.

We were both doubtful that all the pieces would fall into place with the looming deadline, but somehow they did!

as long as it's the desktop version you should be able to set up multiple companies.Quickbooks is a great piece of software when you use it correctly but it has a big learning curve, I strongly suggest you hire a quickbooks pro to set up your companies and classes for each individual property and teach you how to post properly they usually charge about $50 an hour should take about 3 hours depending on how much basic accounting you already know.Hope this helps, Good luck

Another piece of advice, don't spend any more money on the "Gurus".

My units are in B- to C areas, so the apartments don't show like magazine show pieces when occupied.

@Matt HarrisI use Buildium to keep my finances in order and I can every piece of paper that comes across my desk and file it by property and then by date.

That is the missing piece.
