I'd just get a new fan, the same size or smaller (but as powerful) as the old one, put it in where the old one was and trim it out.

Sounds great, but politicians wouldn't let it happen, as it devolves power away from them (which they derive from their ability to dispense goodies to favored groups, and to effectively buy votes and maintain theri entrenched positions).

This forum is very advanced, but I cant find the info Im looking for.I have a 401K ( not huge ), equity in my house, a couple bank accounts, great credit, Im a Licensed Electrician with lots of construction experience.Im reading a lot and a bit overwhelmed, Ive found the Norris Group online, but Im not sure where to begin.Im mainly interested in buying and holding, but will do whatever it takes to get started.I could use a mentor or a partner or any advice you may have.Thanks

Around here, whenever an old 60-amp service gets upgraded, the power company runs a 200amp capable entrance even if you are only going to 100amp.We tend to go with 200amp panel on any upgrade as the hardware cost difference is $100 - $200 {though our last upgrade was a 400amp entrance on a 5 (soon to be six) unit}.
