I guess maybe it's better to get it figured out sooner as opposed to later.  

Also, if using VRBO/Homeaway as opposed to Airbnb, make sure you are covering your costs (since there management fees can be higher.)

I'm happy to trade a LOT of long days and the energy/stress of building my real estate portfolio as opposed to the stress and time of working until I'm 65...

I plan on purchasing a single family house within the next year, living in it for a year, then turning it into a long-term rental property after finding and purchasing a new house.I've heard working with local banks or credit unions can be helpful to the small real estate investor as opposed to national bank chains. 

However, you may be better served adding a unique feature to the kitchen or bath that really makes it standout as opposed to the garage updates.  

My guess is Kwikset is working on producing a hub of their own as opposed to letting Wink take the extra cash.  

Is it easy to find a real estate broker that will sponsor you even though your main reason for joining their team would be for your investment purposes as opposed to selling homes as an agent? 

Whether you end up hiring an attorney (who is not necessarily an investigator in his/her other life,) suing the seller yourself, or attempting to resolve this with the seller out of court on your own, you need proof that (1) the seller (as opposed to, say, property manager, actually knew about the water intrusion.  

Was just running the numbers on what we are missing out on having the money tied up as opposed to having it work for us.
