Talking to a few other local investors, they kind of had a negative perception of that idea because they had seen it where the investor can just walk away but the homeowner is stuck with a clouded title and then ends up going into foreclosure.

Hi all,I never purchased the multi-family investment and I want to get into this type of an investment.I red numerous post regarding the multi-family, but I was wondering if I can get help on what to watch for in multi-family deals in following categories while searching or during the process of offering, or buying; financial standpoint (difference from SFR), structural standpoint (what to inspect), landlord standpoint, and repair standpoint.Also if there is anything else I should watch out for while looking for or proceed to buy a multi-family property that does not fit above categories, please advise me.Thank you so much for your time.William Dorough

This can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt by testimony from Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Residents of the development.The partners and the bank have tried on numerous occasions to contact this partner and discuss options to rectify the problems leading up to this disaster, and he has not responded with any of the information requested.That being said I do not have a copy of any operating agreement, so I am simply going by what the other partners have informed me of.Thanks for the input.

The U.S. government has very aggressively in numerous forced interest rates to be low and remain low.When interest rates rise to more realistic market levels, and interest rates may be very high due to the 3 Trillion the US government is holding in bonds (recall the Jimmy Carter days), there will be more buyers for more moderately priced real estate with good finance terms.
