In Tampa, you have STR travel based on education tourism (USF & UT), medical tourism (some of the best hospitals including Baycare and TGF) and sports tourism (Bucs stadium & Lightning arena).

Aside from having wealthy individuals, it also has one of the lowest uemployment rates 4-5%, a broad based economy, universities, medical centers, amusement parks, open space, is serviced by every major airline, has miles of shoreline where driving down the highway one can see migrating whales, and perfect year round weather!

I have quite a bit of time until we would even consider buying a rental property (have to close on our own house first) but would like to get all my ducks in a row so to speak.Rochester and Syracuse would also be an option (did my medical training in Syracuse) but I know less about the cities.Thanks for the help and all the great information on this site!
