They take complaints January 1 through March 31 for the prior year's tax assessment.

We have no problem renting that one because there are so few rentals at all in that town and the location is good.

This unit is located in a mostly Hispanic area, plenty of families, and with considerable but acceptable crime rates.

I'd love to continue investing in and around Austin, but it appears to be getting tough here so I may need to consider other locations.

There is sufficient equity at the numbers you shared to do so.When the owner of record (with the tax lien) sells the property, the tax lien will be satisfied from the proceeds of the sale from escrow, prior to the seller receiving any of the sale proceeds.
