Even this home, build in 2003, is now out of code as it doesn't have Eggress, and I"ll be damned if I'm going to add one of those leaky SOB's.

I just discovered this same credit card "secret" a couple years back.

Like Jay said, we're all there looking to discover the next Google and make a gazillion dollars on a $25K investment.

I have been LL for the last 5 years and had the warranty on all my rentals for the first three years-an absolute waste if I do the math -not counting the brain damage:).

The attorney I mentioned indicated that discovering this would not be an issue. 

For our day jobs, I am a tax attorney and he is an IT consultant (specifically Oracle business intelligence products).Although I just discovered BP about two months ago, we have been investing/landlording for about two years -- a SFR and an apartment on the first floor of our house.  

I discovered the BP podcast because my commute from the East metro to the North metro is terrible.  

I discovered Biggerpockets  while searching how to screen tenants, i came across @Brandon Turners Tenant screening: The Ultimate guide which was amazing!
