@Joan-Marie Pagan I agree that you will need to vet the TK companies prior to investing.

This could be different in your housing authority, but the 7 I work with all require notice be given at least 30 days prior to moving, and notice does not go into effect until the first of the month following the time they submit to the landlord.

Eventually, the goal would be to have enough rentals to where we would no longer need to do the work ourselves.

Imagine your Goal is to find Financial Security (first) and eventually complete Financial Freedom (leave the Corporate gig) and you want to achieve in the next 10 years a monthly net income of 30k monthly, become an expert, and dedicate your professional (and great part of the personal) life to this industry.

I'd say my hardest lesson learned is overestimating how quickly a new property will reach my revenue goals.

The ultimate goal is to build our own home (bf can do all of the drafting) somewhere in the valley.

It will consume too much of your time and will more than likely distract you from your investment goals without giving you anything of real value besides the option to sell houses as a side hustle.
