question.. in a contract for deed.. when you buy it.. are you just taking title to the asset at that point.. who has title.. in those deals.. is title in the old sellers name.. its not in the new buyer since its a contract FOR deed.always wondered about that.Me personally I don't do anything without fresh title insurance.

the reality is when you go look at a house that needs a full rehab.. that is a home that has been lived in by a tenant most of the time.. so when you buy that fresh rehabbed house and want to know what its going to look like in 5 to 7 years just look at your pictures of the house pre rehab..
