You might reach out to Mark Yuschak I know he's active up there and might be able to lend some assistance.

Or look at the activity on the MLS and see where the activity is.

On top of that, if you are still an active employee with the company that offers the 401k, you may not even be able to withdraw the money and have to rely on just taking a loan from it.That being said, I always tell people it's all about diversification.

Look at you - getting deals while everyone else is relaxing celebrating their favorite President.

However, that shouldn't excuse you from getting involved and taking a more active role.

I am sure your experience will serve you well, just make sure you understand how the local market conditions have changes since you were last active.

I don't do it actively today, but I do find what I have learned applies to much of my investing and personal finances.
