I hope I can return the favor in some small part through my future postings.A little about me..I have worked in construction for maybe 7 years total.This last year I started a construction company and purchased a small warehouse office that was partially rented out.I never intended to become a landlord but as it turns out I am quite suited too it!

FNMA has an addendum that is quite a bit more seller-favorable than the other addenda I've read, so be extra careful when dealing with FNMA REOs.But, again, as Will pointed out, it's pretty much take it or leave it...

Except if in that climate you go to start your new company, no one is going to work for you if you take pay from the workers to pay yourself more.When real wages for workers are stagnant and real wages for executives are soaring, clearly the people at the top (who decide the wages) are choosing to not raise worker wages in favor for keeping more for themselves.

They'll lock in the most favorable, long term financing they can get and weather the soft landing we're likely to experience in the next couple years.As someone mentioned in a previous reply, secondary tertiary markets will probably offer the best opportunities, though I'd be extremely picky in such markets as the bigger players won't be as active.
