However, I haven't done the best job at reading the forums or really diving into the web site.

I'm sure I'm not alone in that my 2 biggest concerns are how to fund and how to look for the property, Too many web sites to sign up for all.

@Justin P. you got 2 problems1Im sure most of buyers looking for Caribbean deals are not looking at the web sites you are on2 the fact all your deals are not local to you tells me you probably do not have very good deals. 

The other driver for an attached ADU is to sandwich in the external wall plumbing which has been giving me problem the past few winters here.  

It's pretty darn old (built in 1890) and needs some work (the house is in great shape from a structural stand point) but needs a new roof, external paint job and a minor interior renovation in the 3rd and 2nd floor units. 

I use Craigslist, the newspaper, as well as just googling other random websites on the web to see what I can dig up ..

I also would like to know if there are any legitimate guru sites on the web that can teach you & provide the forms for such deals.  

Also whether there are other external factors that come into play.
