I'm planing to take a trip down to the midwest in November (Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and Indy) to get some understanding on these markets and setup a team in one of these cities. 

Overall, I'd say 90% of the total visitors to Pai are tourists, with the other 10% expats and locals from the nearby city of Chiangmai taking weekend trips.

Lots of surely looking characters in their 20s and 30s coming and going.

I'll be making a trip to Las Vegas about every two months and I'll be doing about 80% of the renovations (painting, trim, new carpet) to keep cost low and because I like it.  

(I also am at the property a lot)I've actually done the opposite of @Jared Higginbotham - my worry made my instant book settings begin very tightly, requiring host recommendations on top of gov't ID and disclosing trip information.  

I would much rather go to a pancake breakfast at the vets club, a chicken BBQ at the Elks club, a carwash for the local high school sports team, buy candy for an educational trip to somewhere for kids, Donate to the Lions club for the loan closet......

I use to attend meetings of RE clubs in NYC and they organize trips to upstate NY, because of better cash flow.

Several you shouldpay attention to are:- Ordinance & Law: Provides additional building coverage to deal with rebuilding costIncreases due to changes in Zoning or Building laws- Personal Injury Liability: Libel, defimation of character, wrongful imprisionment, etc.

Families can't get into this school district and trip all over themselves for affordable housing.

The guy will have to make a special trip .
