I'm sure there will be hurricane straps required. your also gonna need to assess and check with building to make sure the first floors walls can carry the new 2nd floor. you may need to add some structural to carry the load. your taking what was essentially a finished attic on the Cape and adding the weight of the whole 2nd floor. also as someone else said earlier think about how it's going to look from the outisde. the first floor wall is gonna be pretty tall.

You can file complaints with HUD or other alphabet agencies but since your just an outsider your complaints will have little weight.  3. you probably not really understanding what happened here..

@Harjeet Bhatti that’s the part that no body talk about when doing a BRRR that if you use the heloc as a down payment they will calculate that on the D/I.

@Bryan Cavellier you can make a rental too nice to the point where you don’t make any money because it doesn’t fit the area and therefore no body will rent it from you.

@Neal Boroumand DTI is always something you have to keep in mind but also give equal weight to the applicants history (scores are not everything but history is).
