The house is structurally sound and 3bd 2 ba across the street from a lake (houses on the lake pay double the taxes, so this house gives you the view without the heavy taxes, but that also means you don't have direct access to the lake), so it has beautiful views, but the house is a little awkward.

So I have a lake on 55 acres and I am thinking about constructing multiple yurts around the lake and AirBNB or get a management company to manage renting them out.More or less turning the area into a camp ground or long term camping. 

I purchased a cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA on a whim a year ago and spent quite a bit of money and time and money on renovating it.

For some personal context, I was driving back from a remote lake house deal and was passing mobile home after mobile home of some of the poorest Americans I know.

Any way, I located a really nice lake front home in my area at a reasonable price.

Surprised I haven’t seen Salt Lake City in here at all.

Lot's of good memories from around there.Great Lake and friendly folks.We looked at investing up there as from Memphis area it is doable driveIt has been few years for us, so talk with locals about new subdivisions and how fast they are selling out should give you a feel. 

I have a tenant in my townhome in Salt Lake City that his one year lease is ending in June.

We moved from Salt Lake to Las Vegas in August of last year, but continue to invest in the SLC area because of our familiarity with that local RE market.
