It's definitely more difficult to manage a renovation or rental from a long distance, but it's easier than managing an expensive property that might sink you because it's way outside of your budget and/or comfort zone.

The problem is, we haven't received the leftover deposit yet (toilet seat + air filter for fridge costs should have been taken out), and she has a very short time from today in which to get it to us.

The trip definately gave me confidence and i could say that i would be comfortable investing there if i see an opportunity.Anyways, as ive been coming across lots of horror stories and negative feedbacks lately about OOS experience throughout BP forum lately, i would love to hear about investors whos had success and positive experience in Indy as well.
