Just to clarify a couple things that I misrepresented above.I would live in for 1.5 years because of this-Reno then refi after 6 months while owner occ for best terms, then stay for remaining seasoning of 1 year before I rent it out.

Also 3 major players are opening up there doors for business this year bringing hundreds of jobs into the city.Aside from the densely student population New Haven does a good job keeping people employed, and as a Yale employee you receive plenty of housing assistance.

Little extras when I am servicing a unit anyway (like a new toilet seat or faucet or porch light unexpected), greeting cards at holidays, common areas decorated for the season or trimming a tree, weeding, etc. without being asked.
