I'd remind them that most PMs and owners/landlords in my experience take up to 20 days or more to return it, but the BEST I can do given their situation is make sure to return it on the day they surrender premises and all keys, that is scheduled in advance.

They send reminders to tenants and me stating when rent will be deducted and then give us receipts after the transaction.

You can send and receive reminders to tenants about payments in advance, late payments, partial payments, you get email confirmation when a payment is made, you can set up auto-debit, send Thank You notes, etc.It's not free.
