Okay I have searched the topic of HOAs and some of the lousy stunts that are pulled.

Hi,I maxed out on my Fannie loans so I have been searching for portfolio lenders.

I didn't see anything based on my searches but wanted to see if there was something I was missing.

I am searching for local real estate investors with bootcamps or seminars.

I have searched the internet and not found anything that works to fix the Excel workbook text converter problem.Can anyone on Bigger Pockets help me?

I agree with Jon that reading the Beginners Guide is a good start , also the search engine is helpfull in finding books,and past threads that may be helpfull..Good luck in your venture....

(http://www.biggerpockets.com/real-estate-investing) Once you land in Phoenix I would search out their REIAs, and start networking with other investors who will help point you to the areas to consider investing in based on your budget and risk level.

Best piece of advice anyone on the site can give you is to start using the search feature for all questions you have.

If you have a question do a search 1st then post it if you need further clarity.
