Hey everyone, I’m working on a platform concept called RentKeep that focuses on providing property intelligence to help property managers make data-driven decisions to increase their NOI.

You need to have a good property management in place too.

It's definitely worth it, especially if you're buying a property through like an auction or something similar. 

You can always run an OPRA (free open permits search) on the property as well.

My partner and I are currently hold 2 properties in the Glendale area that have done quite well.

@Nir Berko, while I have not ever owned properties in Cleveland, I had 6 or 7 section 8 rentals here in Cincinnati.  

Currently have one rental and looking for my second property.

Last week I received a letter from my insurance company stating they were going to discontinue my policy due to the current condition of the property (missing siding) and due to the fact that I am not currently living there (which is not true).I contacted my insurance broker and due to the fact my current insurance company disclosed the cancellation, they could not find another company that would insure the property.I just filed a dispute with the state.

We just purchased a property through a whole seller, not closed yet, but seller has given us permission to start on rehab, but is wanting to occupy the property for 2 months.

I owe a mortgage bal of $126k on a property worth $375k and have about 8 years to pay it off; rate is 3.37%.
