I give them a military discount on the rent (like 50 bucks - I buy with enough spread to cover it), they have been very good on paying their rent, the local losers tend not to screw with them and any definition of "rough" I have they have no problem with.

If it doesn't make that much you may as well just lend the money on projects and avoid the brain damage.I am a big believer in spreading bets too so I have a lot of money in securities (stocks, bonds, etc.) that are passively managed in Fama/French three-factor funds via Dimensional Funds.
