One thing I might consider when buying is the quality of internet available or bringing in better internet if available for the tenants.

I have found the biggerpockets network to be so helpful and am hoping for the same since a simple internet search in this field often leaves me scratching my head and doesn't provide enough information.

I would do that just to confirm your original projections and/or you may decide to use them, since they already have the highest ratings on the usual sites and they have all the moving parts in place (supposedly).Also, don't forget you need to provide all utilities for str's, including internet, cable or other tv service, etc.

Would you read every book recommended to you on the internet?

I have owned the house for over a year and if I search the address it will still show up on the iNTERNET as the home of a RSO. 

My lease in Portland just ended and my rent covered all utilities except electric and internet, which seems pretty standard for a quality one-bedroom in downtown Portland.  

I understand that expenses like water, electric, gas, internet, etc. are all variables and change depending on multiple factors, but I'm looking to see if people out there have any Go-To websites they use to get accurate or at least semi-accurate estimations of these types of expenses. 

I am active duty military and I about to deploy to a relatively safe location with a slow internet connection but I won't have cell service.
