It's a bit pricier than most options if you hire it out, but it's actually a pretty easy DIY job if you can do it yourself or have an hourly person you can hire to do it competently.

Their product that was built, designed with the end buyer being the homeowner, will have nicer fixtures, and amenities thus making landlords that have mid-grade homes compete for a lower pool of residents.

These lenders look at the income from the property and these are for investment or business purpose only, and they don't examine your individual finances.

These loans are typically more expensive.Many PML and HML will look at each situation individually to determine what qualifies. 

It's tough where I'm at for many buyers as well competing with all the cash offers.
