Try going to www.narpm.org and search their directory of managers.

If you just own the land you have no income coming in usually off the land until you start to improve it.

Search things like zoning ordinance, neighborhood preservation, etc.

I know that I could get stuck with a propertie that has hiided liens that were not disclosed. does anyone know how to do a lien search?
