My girlfriend has a house with about $500k in equity and divorced a few years ago.

During the 1970s, my grandfather bought two land plots on the Jersey Shore and built a house on each for $5-$10K.

We've had our house in Mishawaka since December of 2022.

They have a house with an in-law apartment (essentially a 2-unit MFH) that needs some work.

This is causing difficulty for me to understand if this is a good investment property or not when I do an analysis on this property.We are getting a huge downpayment from our parents for a house.
