I will be graduating from dental school in May and I have accepted a job in Oklahoma.

At 1st I just wanted 12 properties in 10 years and two of them were to be used for their equity to pay for my children's college if they decide to go, if not to give them $100K a piece, so they wouldn't have to start from zero and be able to make their way to freedom.

Of course not, you go there for a specific expertise, your teeth are cared for, and you pay your bill.The GP side of the partnership carries with it a large overhead in terms of knowledge, money, time and effort.In a similar way a Dental practice carries this load.You want your Dentist to be best at caring for YOU, the same as you want you GP to be best at caring for YOU and the investment as a whole.If you believe the GP needs to payout of pocket for LP shares along side other LP investors, you may find deals like that out there.Just make sure the Dentist is a good one.Good Luck!

The majority of these professionals travel solo or with their partners, with only a rare exception involving children. 

There has been everything from children to 90 year people killing  someone.

If you really want to do it dont let a few hard issues stand in your way, im sure there will even be more to come but the reward seems to out way the problems in my experience, the legacy im leaving to my children is important enough to me to figure out the best system for us. the system will look different for every investor but be encouraged that when you finally get your system or rhythm, there will be no stopping you!

We have a 7 year old daughter and would want to be in a place friendly for children, though I hear Italy in general is very child friendly.

We have inherited a fair number of older tenants who do not want the responsibility of caring for a place, some have given paid off houses to their children.
