I've owned a few properties in the past and worked as a loan originator in the residential mortgage business for 6 years back in 2001-2007 brokering all types from A paper, FHA to subprime, so I'm not coming completely out of left field.

Fresh out of undergrad and without the prospect of a career job on the horizon, I took the plunge and moved from beautiful Reno/Tahoe to Knoxville, TN with the woman that I was dating at the time (now wife).

I moved to North Jersey about three years ago after finishing college to start my career.

I thought he only just sold homes but he told me he and his brother a realtor, have been leasing homes their entire  career. 

A steady income is necessary to obtain the financing you will need.That aside why are you going to college with the intent of working toward quitting your career.

I have been wholesaling for a little over a year now, I made some progress in my first year, but I want to move my investing career toward CRE.

I am also looking to meet people in the wealth building field, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm 25 so my regular career is only now starting to become successful and I'm at a point where I want to save and earn money instead of blow it all so I'm starting to work on the RE portfolio. 

I'm posting to hopefully reach someone with experience in this field of investing, specially in New Jersey.
