Hey BP members. I'm brand new to the BP community today and new to REI in general. I've owned a few properties in the past and worked as a loan originator in the residential mortgage business for 6 years back in 2001-2007 brokering all types from A paper, FHA to subprime, so I'm not coming completely out of left field. I am ready to get serious this time and I am looking for a mentor I can work with in Dallas. I did attend a weekend REI seminar 2 years ago but didn't take any action. I own my own business as a consultant and have some flexibility with my time. I'm looking to acquire a primary residence first and foremost and am here to get educated and develop a strategy.
