But if you're living at home then it may be fine to build up the equity.

I have been saving money for a long time and looking to finally make the jump and purchase an investment property.Im focused on building wealth in my property, renovating it, and keeping it for the long term.

It looks like the street is full of attorneys, real estate, and other reputable businesses, so the location looks to be strong.Exterior looks nice and fits with surrounding buildings.

An absolute headache to deal with due to corners cut by the builder (we are outside of the build warranty). 

(Although if I can use less that’d be fantastic)  My fiancé (getting married this year) will also be able to qualify for Real estate professional status, which should hopefully help us with taxes.I don’t really need cashflow in these first few years at least, I’m more than happy to keep working and using that income to build our portfolio.
