You hit the nail on the head @Derek Harris I found a deal that looks great on paper but some showing some concerns under the hood.

For Hood employs more than 10 times as many people as the next largest employer in the city, so if that ever did happen, there is little chance the area would survive.

Houston and Harris County definitely have more work to do, and billions need to be spent, to improve our drainage and flood preparation for the future.
