Writing contracts goes deeper than just writing down understandings, it shows intent, practice, knowledge of legal aspects that are often best left alone so they may be debated or simply cured by custom or law.

The number of customers available to you on the internet may be higher than in your local area, but so are the number of competitors.

Hey Larry,  I was in your same situation a couple years ago and I decided to buy a small property in Topanga Cyn and build a custom affordable modular home and got it built for under $150,000 in less then 6 months time it was the best thing I've ever done and I could resell my home rite now for almost double the price I paid and my home is as nice or nicer then any traditionally built new home in the local area.

I know what to look for in my state and buying through auction.com.I have also become a very loyal customer over the past 3 years and they'll answer my few remaining title questions for no charge at this point since they are getting all the business I can point to them.

I just read techies are buying second homes in Santa Monica as weekenders for 2 mil 3+2s....those might be considered bargains in a few years....oh boy.The only building I see is higher end multis and custom tear downs.

I personally value posts based on their relevancy, logic, and the strength of their argument.  

I'd like to begin doing the same, but my concern is that many banks don't support 'screen-scraping', and they warn customers not to give softwares access to their bank logins.

My father in law also does log work on the side and he was able to add some "mountain feel" with some custom log work!
