The city of Detroit is far from perfect but as a life long southeast Michigan resident and 17 year real estate investing veteran I’ll say this: Detroit is in a position it hasn’t been in to close to 100 years.

As an 18 year veteran of RE investing, and having dabbled in many investing strategies, two important things come to mind.1.

And most likely this is not in a situation where his agent is a trusted resource and he’s ignoring a seasoned veteran who’s just looking out for him. 90% of agents are not people you want to be doing business with.

I am cheering for us newbies (and veterans).

For newbies or veterans what were the steps you took to get your feet wet and set sailing?

Fill the house with haunted mirrors, creepy dolls, vintage music boxes, china figurines, photograph them in place, and you can rotate new  furnishings in an out every few weeks as you sell the old ones on eBay.But the bulk of your revenue is going to come from Airbnb, where you will loudly and proudly advertise your haunted house experience.PEOPLE WILL COME.

First of all, I am a veteran high school teacher and mom to five kids who have already graduated.

I look for veterans because I know they have a good work ethic and I can train them if they want to work. 

I am a disabled Gulf War Veteran, and I'm needing help getting a home for my family and me. 

The government can't take care of Veterans and I sure don't need them telling me what is acceptable housing and what isn't.
