This is a passive option that often produces a better return than most new RE investors achieve on their first or second RE investment. 

Whe you buy a rental, you'll have to own it for two tax cycles before a lender will give you ANY credit for the rental income it produces, and after that, you'll only get 75% of the credit for that income.

Investing is buying an income producing asset hoping it grows faster than inflation (value and cashflow), while leveraging on others to help pay the loan/s (tenants).
