Aside from the most popular being a real estate agent I was wondering what other real estate related jobs people have had success with in the past.

However, walking around and taking to people, I found that Scotchtown area is popular, especially for commuters to the city.Also, Legoland is being build in Goshen which is a nearby town.

I believe I may already know the popular vote, but here is my situation: I purchased a brownstone in Brooklyn in 2014 as a shell and the house underwent a gut renovation. 

My last kitchen was 2 slabs those prices aren't available in my market for the popular quartz colors.

Those tend to be the most popular with investors.

In fact I can’t think of any RI-specific sources that would only apply to RI and not other states.Classic strategies for finding motivated sellers include direct mail, SEO/web advertising, telephone pole (aka “bandit”) signs, door hangers, driving for dollars, etc.As far as getting lists to direct market to, buying them from list brokers is popular, as is driving around yourself, trawling public records sites (see ripropinfo.com) etc.
