Now me being 37, having seen the boom-bust cycle numerous times now, about 3-1/2 times in my life and having gone through it when I got out of construction and so when you think about what caused the last bust cycle... remember 2007-2008-2009... you had Lehmen Brothers failing.

I find that folks say they're 'waiting for the crash' as a reason to sit on the sidelines and not take action, rather than a data driven decision based on having looked at and made offers on numerous deals.

Sometimes it's ambiguous, but even then, why should I bother with the company that has numerous unresolved lawsuits, versus another company that is virtually the same but has none.

I am nevertheless trying to come up with a likely explanation for her "concern" with what your business prospects are.You see, if she were LEASING this building to you for your business venture, her inquiry would make PERFECT SENSE, and would actually constitute normal due diligence.

I/we've been on numerous jobs where you can't find one mark at all from any hail etc, but the client will say "oh?
