As we head towards a likely recession (OK that's my opinion) I believe investors will be looking for more diversification, willing to invest less per deal and looking for safer and more income generating investments and multiple points of liquidity. What capital raising tool (syndications, fund of funds, SPV or a regular fund) do you think is the best?
I think the fund of funds model and especially customizable funds provide the best option but would welcome a discussion and other opinions.

What plane flies best in a storm? The one with an experienced captain and enough fuel in the tank to make it through!

I see it as less a question of the investment vehicle and more a matter of the team and reserves.
