You will always be left to defend it or negotitate it no matter how ridiculouos, so don't cut yourself short by not having the correct professional sign off on your projects.

Not many can come up with money to purchase a property right now.

If she's left it like that, she can't be expecting to get all of her deposit back.

Regardless, I'm just trying to give them the right guidance since there is a lot of equity in the property.

You should have  a lot of options if it's a building that's been updated etc.Farmers itself does some weird things with their deductibles and they're very specific what they want right now.Let me know if I can help.
