They wouldn't cancel and I couldn't give them the check in information and have them beating on the door at 6 AM, so I cancelled after conferring with VRBO and they still took my premier host for cancelling ( I'll get it back in about a week).

With the cash flow play you need to buy low, negotiate hard on price, expect no appreciation and get a very healthy cash flow, nothing marginal,  And expect when you sell to make little to no appreciation, then any gains are icing on the cake.
