Any business where you're going to be seeing more houses than a normal person sees is going to help you add value in a real estate transaction.

If in ten years he had developed a successful track record with multiple deal exits, I would consider investing with him.

I have asked my tenants to confirm their contact info and names of all people living in the house including name and age of their children. 

I doubt their sexual orientation made any difference on how they kept house. 

One thing I did differently, was not just depend on my realtor to get the house rented.
