Not exactly sure what the precise threshold is for it making financial sense, but I imagine with 3-4 bids and historical landscaping water usage data you could analyze how long it would take for it to pay for itself.

Jessica has had this Property around 2.5 years but yet to make any return on it despite it being rented out twice now for about 15 months to two different tenants through two different property management companies.I have a background in the military and police, have my own business still connected with law and security so i’m up to speed with British law but I’m aware this is likely to be different in the US.I believe that one property management company, our current one may have committed fraud against us.

Of course, you'd also need 13k to 15k in total closing costs in NJ, but some lenders may be able to roll some or all of that into your loan amount.To me, the benefits of locking in a 30yr mortgage at historically low levels on a multi-family property are too great to ignore right now.

QE is how they will do it, and while it MIGHT go well, historically every time central banks try and force inflation it gets away from them in devastating fashion.If inflation goes up drastically, cash will be worth less and fixed rate debt will hold a premium of value.

Poconos, PA on the East Coast may be worth doing your own due-diligence on - 1 - Historically proven vacation market - 2 - Year-round attractions such as lakes/ski resorts/fishing/hunting/hiking/camping - 3 - Close proximity to NYC and PHL - 4 - local municipalities are dependent on tax & visitor revenue generated from the industry, so albeit regulations are due to come, vacation rentals are not going away.
