Banks only lend to a LLC if they are an operating business generating income.

However, midterm rentals are a hospitality business much like short term rentals and most PMs have no experience working the hospitality side of the equation.

We want to give owners some flexibility and a good experience working with us, but also, contracts are the assets in this business model i.e. if you don’t have some teeth in the language, if/when you try and sell your company later it won’t be worth much.The 60-90 notice period seems to be a good balance.

So me as a principal broker if commission is 100k I keep it all as it's my company minus business expenses of course.
