The most blatant downside of refinancing in most cases is resetting the amortization loan period back to the beginning if you originally started with a 30yr package and transferred to another 30yr loan.

So if there is an arms length transaction affidavit that states there are to be NO TRANSFERS within 30 days or etc, then you do a transfer of members of the LLC it could make it uninsurable.

The deed can also be changed to TOD - transfer on death - to avoid the lenghty probate process before you can close.
