Needless to say we no longer have any intentions of finishing the basement but have at least resolved the source of the issue and the system can now work the way it was designed.

That makes it very difficult to aggregate data across all projects -- meaning you can't easily see an overall P&L, you can't easily see how much you've paid contractors (for 1099 purposes), you can't easily manage cash flow across the business, you can't easily see what your overhead (non-property specific) expenses were, you can't easily aggregate data for tax preparation and a whole lot of other stuff you can't do.Why not just make each property its own Class, and allow QB to manage your an entire company in a single file (as it was designed to do)?

All adults who live at the property MUST be on the lease.Definitely increase the deposit if you can.That being said, smells a little fishy.

Unfortunately, there is an easement (storm drain runs under the other lot) and the area is a designated so that all properties must be close to the sidewalk which is where the drain runs under so cannot build a property behind even though there's plenty of land.
