When you're a company adjuster you're getting 2-5 claims a day in a normal cycle and double that in a catastrophe it's impossible for a fresh college graduate (on a 3 day adjusting course, which is all you need for a state license) to have the fast-thinking discernment required to catch every nuance and the impact it can have on finding the insured the coverage they purchased and are contractually owed.
