@Craig CruzI'm a former banker...your lender's mistake isn't one that should cost you. 

As long as you buy property in a good location, all but the worst mistakes will be corrected over time through appreciation, inflation and rent increases.

Worst case scenario?

@Linda Tadych from a market perspective the uncertainty is the worst part of all of this, all we can do is maintain our agility, keep an eye on the market and wait for this thing to run its course.

In fact the lender said the 5,700 was a worst case scenario🙄

Italy is currently a worst case scenario and US is currently on track for that due to people who aren’t taking it seriously. 

My options were limited because I tried to do all of this during Carnaval, which is the worst time to get anything productive done.

You’re overthinking the worst case scenario.

Every realtor will tell you they specialize in whatever it is you are looking for, we are all the worst!

I've personally lost out on great deals because I insisted on working with a low cost, no service lender, and I've seen many others make that same mistake.
