The reason I ultimately ended up not doing it was because I ended up raising the funds to make a deal happen and would have rather payed a slightly higher interest rate than stunt the growth of my investment account.

Ultimately an LLC would be fine for this strategy, other strategies like flipping would probably benefit more from an S-corp, because the properties are no longer fixed assets, but are considered Inventory and greater profits would be expected.
